Hi, are we supposed to put up our first assignment on the blog?

Here's my fictional map of Edmond Dantes and l'abbe Faria's cells in the lower dungeons of the fortress Chateau d'If. I didn't add anything to the digital copy except color the lines blue to give more of a blueprint look.

Fantasy Map and Frenchy Stuff

Hello, everyone! Sorry I was absent today! I'm even more sorry that my map isn't done :(. I did spend a pretty long time making a digital color study of it though, so hopefully I won't have too many problems with it once I start painting.

The lettering probably/hopefully will look a little more sophisticated than that when I'm done. I'm going for the 1950s fancy cursive look.

Also, here are my hierarchy of type sketches.

PS: It would be pretty awesome if one of you could let me know our homework and sketch assignments for this week/let me borrow the assignment sheets long enough to copy or scan them. I would really appreciate it!
