I was mugged last thursday and since I have had a lot of time to think about and revise my concept of where I belong. It wasn't until I was cornered when I realized that everything that's important to me (minus my laptop which was at home, thank goodness) was in the pockets of my coat. Things that I carry that are important, like my cellphone, house keys, school ID, wallet, debit card, and drivers license, if stolen, would make my life difficult especially if I was stranded and without help. I am very grateful to the two callers and the campus safety officer who found me and arrested the two men.
